The R2H in my car

Yesterday I received my order from ProClip USA, which included a car clip (which exactly fits into my french car) and a tablet PC holder.

Unfortunately the back of the R2H Battery Pack includes the stand, so I had to remove it in order to attach the holder. But I didn’t had any other problems, the clip is strong enough to hold the R2H.

So far I’m happy with the GPS-Signal-Strength, but Microsoft Auto Route is not the perfect application to provide driving guidance.
After the installation of the Windows Vista Origami Experience, I should have an interface that’s easy to use in my car.

    Hi,
Do you have any experince using this machine with Vista?

  3. Thomas says:

I used Vista Business Edition on the R2H, which I received from the Vista Upgrade Program.

I don\’t think Vista is much slower on the R2H than XP (especially with all those applications pre-installed by ASUS) – the new Tablet PC Features are nice and all the drivers from the ASUS Download page are now working fine on Vista.

My next UMPC will definitly not contain a Windows XP installation anymore :)
